College 101 Information Session (Bilingual-español/English)- November 19, 2020- 6:00-7:30 p.m.
In this presentation, attendees will hear about Aims Community College’s degree and certificate programs and the differences between four-year universities, community colleges and private colleges. An overview of transfer credit and accreditation may also be explored.

Attendees will also learn about the Aims Admissions process. Topics will include assessment requirements, college and program orientations, college acronyms and vocabulary. College costs/debt, scholarships, Aims’ Who are you? quiz is a fun wrap-up activity for attendees to explore Aims opportunities.

En esta presentación, asistentes se enterarán de programas de grados asociados y certificaciones ofrecidas en Aims Community College y de las diferencias entre universidades de cuatro años, universidades de dos años y universidades privadas. Información sobre créditos de transferencia y acreditación también pueden ser exploradas.

Asistentes aprenderán del proceso de admisión de Aims. Temas incluirán requisitos de evaluaciones académicas, orientaciones de la escuela y de programas y del vocabulario usado en la universidad. También información sobre los costos, deuda y becas, el ¿Quien es? quiz es una actividad divertida para que asistentes tengan la oportunidad de explorar oportunidades disponibles en Aims.
